The online shop offers 100,000 SKUs and processes 1500 to 2000 orders every day. Subsequent to an increase in the number of orders, the company needed to expand its storage space and optimize its logistics. The company decided on Infor SCE and chose Russian partner, Exceed Consulting, as the systems integrator
The project implementation took about six months during which time the company optimized its logistics systems in a new warehouse complex with an area about 6,500 sq m, integrated it with the existing ERP system, and trained its staff, all that with its shops operating as usual. The Infor solution has allowed for automation of some manual jobs like the entire physical count process.
“The warehouse is an essential part of our business and our main working site. Prior to this, we did not control all the stages of order processing; now Infor SCE has made the order fulfilment process fully transparent. We have been able to increase the number of orders processed while maintaining high picking accuracy and service quality. Now we have the tool to expand our business,” said Petr Dyuba, chief operating officer at Esky.ru.
